GLAROS THE NAME

Glaros is the greek name for the bird seagull.

Seagulls are seabirds of the family Laridae.

An older name for seagulls is mews, cognate with German Möwe, Danish måge, Dutch meeuw, and French mouette; this term can still
be found in certain regional dialects.

Gulls nest in large, densely packed, noisy colonies.
